Cloud Architect

About the Job:
The company Consulting team is looking for a Cloud Architect with strong expertise in OpenShift, OpenStack, and Ansible to join our Dubai office. In this role, you will be a subject-matter expert in the company’s infrastructure and cloud technology. You will provide insights on best practices regarding automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups, leading the on-site delivery and implementation of the company’s technology that offers freedom, flexibility, and outstanding performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Gaining an understanding of customer infrastructures and business issues to make appropriate recommendations.
• Winning customer confidence through successful delivery of discovery, analysis, and design workshops.
• Leading consulting teams through successful customer pilot and production deployments, as well as workload onboarding and lifecycle management.
• Collaborating with product business units, engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure a world-class customer experience.

What You Will Bring:

• Prior experience in consulting and architecture roles.
• Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to lead customer interactions.
• Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies—hands-on delivery and architecture levels.
• Experience with virtualization and container technologies in enterprise settings.
• Familiarity with the company’s infrastructure solutions, including OpenShift, OpenStack Services on OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform, and Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Willingness to travel across the region.
• Experience onboarding applications and teams onto cloud or container platforms while introducing DevOps practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Company Certifications are considered a plus.

Location: United Arab Emirates (Remote)
Work Conditions: Full-time, relocation to Dubai required (relocation support provided)
