Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA)

As a Cloud Architect & Advisor (CAA), you will be responsible for technically assessing customers' transformation to Cloud ERP, covering areas such as technical architecture, operations, cybersecurity and compliance, technical networking and integration, and system provisioning and solution consumption. You will collaborate with field sales teams, delivery units, and other architecture and engineering functions within ECS to ensure high-quality results for our customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of customer-facing experience, preferably in a technical pre-sales function
• High proficiency in customer communications and presentations
• Good understanding of technical capabilities of at least one hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud)
• Understanding of data center capabilities such as high availability or disaster recovery is a benefit
• Good understanding of the entire platform stack (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.)
• Good understanding of technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)
• Experience with implementation and operation of solutions; knowledge of HANA and S/4 HANA is beneficial
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity; any advanced knowledge/certification is a significant advantage
• Self-sufficient worker and strong team player
• Affinity to technical topics, willingness to tackle aspects outside the comfort zone, and a continuous learning mindset
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a must; proficiency in any other language is a huge advantage
