Cloud-Cabin Safety Operator

About the Role

We are seeking a Cloud-Cabin Safety Operator to remotely monitor autonomous vehicle activities and provide real-time safety assessments and interventions from a dedicated cloud-cabin workstation. This role is critical to maintaining safe autonomous vehicle operations and requires excellent concentration, judgment, and the ability to respond quickly to potential risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Remotely monitor autonomous vehicle operations through cloud-cabin and PC-based workstations.
• Conduct real-time safety assessments during vehicle operations.
• Provide timely and effective interventions when required.
• Identify operational risks and issue appropriate notifications or warnings.
• Monitor activities relating to hardware and software update testing.
• Support road testing and routine autonomous vehicle operations.
• Monitor special experience sessions and VIP services.
• Support operational and cloud-cabin testing activities.
• Escalate safety concerns and operational abnormalities according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate communication with vehicle operators, response teams, and other operational stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in control rooms, command centers, vehicle operations, fleet monitoring, transportation, security operations, or similar environments is preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working extensively with PC-based monitoring systems.
• Ability to assess risks and make decisions quickly.
• Strong communication and escalation skills.
• Ability to remain focused while monitoring multiple operational activities.
• Interest or experience in autonomous vehicles and emerging mobility technologies would be advantageous.
