The Cloud CTO will be responsible for defining and executing the cloud technology strategy and architecture for the organization. Responsibilities
- Cloud Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Create a structured plan outlining technology initiatives, projects, and investments over a defined time horizon. Work with business leaders to define technology goals, priorities, and success criteria. Oversee the technology roadmap detailing timelines, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and budget allocations for each initiative.
- Cloud Investments & ROI: Manage technology investments, including budgeting, prioritization, and resource allocation. Conduct ROI analyses to assess financial impacts and value creation potential. Guide the team on designing comprehensive ROI analysis techniques for proposed technology investments, evaluating anticipated costs and benefits.
- Cloud Tech Architecture: Define and maintain the technology architecture framework and principles. Establish architectural standards, guidelines, and practices for consistency, interoperability, and quality. Design a scalable, adaptable, and secure architecture that supports the organization's evolving needs and changes in the technology landscape.
- Cloud Tech Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce technology governance processes and policies for compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Monitor and assess technology risks, implementing necessary controls and mitigation strategies. Define standards for system architecture, design patterns, coding conventions, data management, security controls, and compliance requirements.
- Cloud Extended Digital Delivery Management: Oversee the extended digital delivery process, managing external vendors, contractors, and partners. Ensure effective collaboration between internal and external teams to deliver digital solutions. Monitor and track project progress, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering; a master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- At least 15 years of progressive technology leadership with a comprehensive experience set across all technology disciplines and a proven track record of successfully aligning technology initiatives with business objectives and driving digital transformation.
- 4-5 years of experience designing cloud technology architecture, with extensive experience in managing extended digital delivery teams, including external vendors, contractors, and partners.
