Key Responsibilities:
- Work within Enterprise Data Management (EDM) / DART to create solutions and technology designs, develop standards, and build architecture runways, particularly for Azure-based platforms (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks).
- Collaborate with Technology & Architecture to ensure solutions align with technology roadmaps and business capabilities.
- Implement solution and technology architecture standards, governance, and principles using the company Architecture Frameworks and Tools.
- Develop solution architecture designs as part of both agile and waterfall delivery methods to promote innovation and cost efficiency.
- Ensure architectural assets align with the DTI strategy and comply with the enterprise’s future-state architecture.
- Consult with product and project delivery teams on applying new or existing technologies to support business initiatives.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in complex IT architecture environments.
- Experience in the airline industry is strongly desirable.
- Proven track record in delivering architecture solutions for data warehousing, big data, business intelligence, and data science projects.
- Hands-on data modeling experience, preferably with airline data (e.g., PNR, TKT).
- Strong practical knowledge of data lineage, quality, lifecycle management, and data security/privacy.
- Experience with Azure data services (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Cosmos DB).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related degree is preferable.
- Certifications in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe Architect) are mandatory.
