Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage multi-cloud infrastructure following best practices and the company’s security standards.
- Ensure customer solutions are accurately configured and deployed on time.
- Develop migration plans and cutover activities with internal and external teams.
- Conduct infrastructure assessments and deliver due-diligence reports.
- Develop and maintain low-level designs, system diagrams, installation guides, and support procedures.
- Create and implement Disaster Recovery Plans and conduct DR drills.
- Deploy and manage server hardware and execute large-scale upgrades and migrations.
- Plan and execute the company’s Operational Readiness process for infrastructure projects.
- Capture, document, and share knowledge across engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications from Azure, AWS, VMware, or G42 cloud platform providers; ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
Experience:
- Experience in VMware private cloud/virtualization and Wintel environments.
- Strong understanding of multi-cloud, hybrid cloud, and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS delivery models.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform).
- Knowledge of security hardening and system performance tuning.
Skills & Competencies:
- Expertise in cloud onboarding and implementation across hybrid multi-cloud platforms (AWS, G42, Azure, VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong understanding of networking, LAN/WAN, micro-segmentation, firewalls, WAF, and load balancers.
- Understanding of high-availability configurations, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Awareness of ITIL and project management frameworks.
