Position

The Cloud Engineer will support the company’s Federal customers by working closely with global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams and technical leads to manage day-to-day service operations, capacity planning, and customer escalations, ensuring a seamless and reliable customer experience. You'll be responsible for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting WebEx audio/video applications and services, particularly in FedRAMP High or IL-5 environments.

This role requires applying SRE and DevOps principles to operate a scalable, highly available, and stable cloud service on the WebEx platform, developing and following ITIL-based processes to maintain operational excellence. You'll utilize strong analytical skills to identify issues, propose solutions, review logs for errors, file defects, and implement design improvements to maintain service quality and reliability. Additionally, participation in on-call and pager duty rotations is expected to provide responsive customer support.

Language Requirements:
Must be a U.S. Person (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee) due to the nature of the work and security requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, or
  • Master’s degree plus 4 years, or
  • PhD plus 1 year of related experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of VoIP protocols, architectural design, and implementation within enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Agile/Scrum development frameworks and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support complex cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Oracle Session Border Controllers (SBC).
  • Experience with SRE practices, including system monitoring, incident management, and operational automation.
  • Proficiency in writing and maintaining complex regular expressions for data parsing, log analysis, and automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with additional programming or scripting languages and automation tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat mitigation strategies, and industry-standard security best practices.

Salary Range:
The starting salary range for this position is $137,000.00 to $200,500.00, reflecting projected salaries for new hires in U.S. locations. Individual pay will be determined by location, market conditions, skills, experience, qualifications, and other factors.
