As a Cloud Engineer, you will lead and implement infrastructure systems to support business and engineering functions. Your role entails participating in the design and implementation of enterprise infrastructures, particularly multi-cloud environments such as VMware private cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage multi-cloud infrastructure adhering to best practices and the company's security standards.
- Ensure customer solutions are configured and deployed accurately and on-time.
- Develop low-level designs, system diagrams, and disaster recovery plans.
- Manage server hardware deployment and perform large-scale upgrades and migrations.
- Act as a technical lead to ensure adherence to the company's quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members, managing project tasks and stakeholder communications.
- Develop accurate operating procedures and solicit client feedback to increase satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Certification from G42/Azure/AWS/VMware Cloud platforms.
- ITIL foundation certification.
- At least 8+ years of experience as a Technical Implementation Engineer with a focus on VMware private cloud.
- Strong experience in hybrid on-premises to cloud implementations and workload migration.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
- Familiarity with security hardening, system performance tuning, and multi-cloud environments.
