The responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the engineering team to enhance the quality and efficiency of development and operations.
- Identifying and measuring team health indicators.
- Implementing robust engineering and operational processes.
- Representing the BootStack team concerning stakeholders, customers, and external teams.
- Ensuring alignment on priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
- Meeting service level agreements for customer deployments globally.
- Delivering consistent and quality managed services in a timely manner.
Work Conditions:
- This is a globally remote role with the flexibility to work from anywhere.
- Travel to team and company events and customer meetings is required, roughly 20% or less.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a technology field.
- Proven professional experience in software delivery using languages like Python, Go, C, C++, or Java, and/or managing operations teams.
- Proven experience with OpenStack.
- Strong commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality.
- Experience with Linux system administration; Ubuntu/Debian knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication and cooperation skills.
- Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
- Experience in managing distributed teams and understanding complex distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud topologies and technologies.
