Position

Help global companies embrace the latest private cloud infrastructure, Linux, and cloud-native operations, as well as open-source applications. The role involves working as a Linux and cloud solutions architect, designing private and public cloud solutions tailored to customer workload needs. Responsibilities include hands-on technology deployment, testing, and providing solutions to support or managed services teams post-project. Additionally, the role involves software engineering to develop Kubernetes operators and Linux open-source infrastructure-as-code.

Key aspects of the job include:

  • Working across the entire Linux stack from kernel, networking, and storage to applications.
  • Designing and delivering open-source code using Python.
  • Architecting cloud infrastructure solutions using technologies like OpenStack, Kubernetes, Ceph, Hadoop, and Spark, either On-Premises or in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Coaching and developing colleagues.
  • Promoting a collaborative engineering culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Global travel up to 25% of the time for internal and external events.
  • Engage directly with customers across various business industries.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related software engineering expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph, etc.).
  • Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
  • Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in a second language (French, German, Italian, Arabic, or Spanish) is optional.
  • Strong organizational skills and a reliable follow-up on commitments.
