Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of Field Engineers in the areas of Presales and Professional Services.
- Solve customer challenges through technological promotion and trusted advisory.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and career development feedback.
- Identify and measure team health indicators and implement disciplined engineering processes.
- Actively represent your team and products to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Participate in presales discussions to achieve departmental goals.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies, including Kubernetes, Openstack, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Ceph.
- Practical experience with Linux and networking.
- Experience in technical presales.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Passion for developing and growing engineering talent.
- Experience in mentoring and leading engineers.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in a second language, ideally Spanish or French.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience collaborating with external partners and multiple internal teams.
