As a Cloud Professional Services Manager, your responsibilities will include line management and career guidance for your team. You will need to develop engineering talent, represent your team from a technical perspective, and drive collaboration with other teams and customers. Active participation in technical presales is also expected.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of engineers, from graduate to senior level.
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback.
- Implement disciplined engineering processes and measure team health indicators.
- Represent your team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
- Develop and evangelize effective engineering and organizational practices.
- Be an active member of the leadership team, collaborating with other leaders.
What We Are Looking For:
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph).
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
- Experience in technical presales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Passion for developing and growing people, along with a track record of leading, coaching, and mentoring engineers.
- Organized with a focus on timely, high-quality results.
- An exceptional academic track record.
- Additional language skills in Spanish or French would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Python is a plus.
