Engineering Managers should excel as engineers and feel comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and engaging in technical presales conversations with customers. They contribute to project delivery while shaping the team's direction and focus. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of engineers, from graduate to senior levels.
- Work remotely within a major time zone, ensuring team collaboration.
- Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to team members.

- Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies (Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, Ceph).
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
- Experience in technical presales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Passion for developing and growing people.
- Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring engineers.
- Ability to ensure timely, high-quality results.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time for company events and customer meetings.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in a second language such as Spanish or French is preferred.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience collaborating with external partners and internal teams.
