About the Job
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate Data Platform & Advanced Analytics/Artificial Intelligence Cloud Solution Architect to drive high-priority customer initiatives on the Microsoft Azure Platform. You will collaborate with customers to manage the overall technical relationship concerning Microsoft's Data, Advanced Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence platforms. In this customer-facing role, you will provide technical support, facilitate architectural design sessions, manage specific implementation projects, build MVPs, and solve issues while helping to create more efficient systems using the Well-Architected Framework.

Responsibilities
Technical Leadership

  • Support research projects and contribute to scoping surveys for customers/partners to assess their potential intellectual property (IP) needs or process changes.
  • Identify opportunities for IP reuse and consumption acceleration while contributing to IP creation by identifying gaps through delivery.
  • Share ideas, insights, and technical input with team members, leveraging Microsoft architectures.
  • Participate in external technical community events and share learnings with the internal team.

Business Impact

  • Diagnose issues and provide advice to customers/partners for performance optimization in line with Microsoft best practices.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve blockers to accelerate consumption and solution implementation.
  • Consult on technical solution design and support customers/partners throughout implementation to achieve value outcomes.
  • Propose solutions and participate in discussions around architecture design and technical optimization.

Customer Centricity

  • Actively listen to customers and challenge them respectfully to help guide their direction.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by providing outstanding customer experiences and addressing any dissatisfaction proactively.
  • Gather insights from customers to map solutions with their business outcomes and act as the voice of the customer within internal teams.
  • Facilitate technical discussions to ensure customer readiness and operational health.

Requirements
Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, or related fields.

Additional/Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google).
  • 2+ years of experience on technical projects and in a customer-facing role.
