Cloud Solution Architect - Azure Infra

As a Cloud Solution Architect Azure Infra in the Customer Success Unit in the UAE, you will work with enterprise customers to design and help them implement their infrastructure on Azure. Your work will blend time at Microsoft offices, on-site with customers, and remote collaboration from home—giving you the flexibility to make an impact wherever it’s needed most.

In the Customer Success team, we are looking for people with a passion for delivering customer success. As a Cloud Solution Architect Azure Infra, you will enable customers to achieve their outcomes, based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your leading technical expertise, you will ensure customers get value from their Microsoft investments. Azure is the most comprehensive, innovative, and flexible cloud platform today, and Microsoft is hiring professionals that will drive customer cloud adoption for AI Innovation.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications (RQs)

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, or related fields

Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

• 4+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role, driving architecture design, solution implementation, or cloud adoption
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying Azure landing zones aligned with enterprise-scale architecture best practices
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., VNETs, VPN, ExpressRoute, load balancing, firewalls, DNS)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash or PowerShell
• Experience with Python for automation, integration, or infrastructure as code scenarios
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and/or Kubernetes (K8s)

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with key customer IT decision makers to enable long-term cloud adoption
• Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners to relevant Microsoft teams for continuous improvement
• Deliver excellence by owning your committed pipeline and ensuring delivery aligns with customer expectations
• Drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers on Azure Infrastructure services
• Run Architectural Design Sessions to plan for implementing solutions based on customer business goals
• Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects using Azure Infrastructure expertise
