Cloud Solution Architect

About the Job: The company is a technology service provider and leading outsourced partner delivering professional and managed solutions across EMEA. We are hiring a Cloud Solution Architect for one of our key enterprise customers. This role is ideal for an experienced Windows Server and Virtualization specialist with deep expertise in high-availability architectures, failover clustering, and advanced performance troubleshooting in hybrid and cloud-connected environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, migrate, and decommission Windows Failover Clusters
• Troubleshoot complex cluster issues including quorum errors, storage failures, and node communication problems
• Diagnose OS performance issues, driver compatibility challenges, and patching impacts
• Resolve CPU, memory, disk, and I/O bottlenecks through tuning and proactive monitoring
• Lead vulnerability mitigation, compliance assessments, and hardening aligned to CIS/NIST standards
• Deliver workshops and training on Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, Performance Troubleshooting, and emerging technologies
• Architect and execute cluster migration plans ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity
• Conduct root cause analyses (RCAs), produce customer-ready reports, and lead post-incident reviews
• Configure and manage Windows Server security technologies including Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, Device Guard, Credential Guard, and BitLocker

Key Requirements:

• Proven expertise in Windows Failover Clustering, Hyper-V, Virtualization, and modern Windows Server platforms
• Strong background in performance troubleshooting (CPU, memory, storage, network)
• Hands-on experience with Windows Defender, Windows Firewall, Device Guard, Credential Guard, and BitLocker
• Skilled in vulnerability management and compliance remediation
• Ability to deliver workshops, lead technical discussions, and present complex topics clearly
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Confident, composed, and able to lead high-pressure technical engagements
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer-facing skills
