About the Job
We are looking for a Cloud Solution Engineer who is passionate about driving customer success by acting as a trusted advisor. This role involves building strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention. You will collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions. Your responsibilities will include conducting technical discovery sessions to gather detailed business and technical needs, architecting comprehensive cloud solutions aligned with industry best practices, and presenting Oracle cloud solutions to customers.
In this position, you will create and deliver technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation while staying updated on the latest cloud technologies. Technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects, will be key components of your work. You will analyze industry trends and provide strategic insights to the sales team and customers. Additionally, you will design and deliver enterprise cloud architecture that articulates business value, and lead cross-functional teams at Oracle to help customers implement and govern their cloud solutions effectively.

Key Qualifications & Competencies
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in technology and industry, with significant experience working with public cloud platforms.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect, particularly concerning enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
- Experience with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
- Familiarity with Open source, Cloud native, and Oracle technologies.
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to collaboratively design and implement cloud solutions.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements and develop architecture based on their business needs.
- Ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
- Provide customized product demonstrations to customers and at events.
- Support customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through to production deployment.
- Create and distribute technical assets such as white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and sales regarding cloud solutions.
