Cloud Solution Engineer

About the Job
We are looking for a passionate individual to drive customer success by acting as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. As a Cloud Solution Engineer at Oracle, you will collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and propose suitable Oracle cloud solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting technical discovery sessions to gather detailed business and technical requirements
• Architecting comprehensive cloud solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices
• Presenting and demonstrating Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings
• Creating and delivering technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation
• Staying updated on the latest cloud technologies by working closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams
• Providing technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects
• Analyzing industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to deliver strategic insights to the sales team and customers
• Designing and delivering enterprise cloud architecture that clearly articulates business value through vision, capability models, assessments, and technical architecture
• Leading cross-functional Oracle teams to help customers design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time

Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in technology and industry, with several years working with public cloud platforms
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect, focusing on enterprise cloud solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges
• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications
• Experience or strong familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles
• Experience with Open source, Cloud native, and Oracle technologies
• Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

Responsibilities
You will participate in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions, working directly with customers to gather requirements, develop architectures, and translate business needs into solutions. Your role will include:

• Implementing solutions and ensuring successful deployments through code development and scripting
• Displaying product/application understanding through customized presentations and demonstrations to customers
• Supporting customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training
• Creating and distributing technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations)
• Serving as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success
