You will be responsible for presenting and demonstrating Oracle cloud solutions to customers, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings. This includes creating and delivering technical proposals, presentations, and solution documentation. Staying updated on the latest cloud technologies is essential, and you will work closely with Oracle product management and engineering teams to provide technical guidance during the sales cycle, including proofs of concept (POCs) and pilot projects.
Your role will also involve analyzing industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to deliver strategic insights to the sales team and customers. You will design and deliver enterprise cloud architecture, clearly articulating business value through vision, capability models, assessments, and technical architecture. Leading cross-functional Oracle teams, you will help customers design, implement, and govern enterprise cloud architecture and solutions on time.
Key Qualifications & Competencies
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in technology and industry, with experience working with public cloud platforms.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a customer-facing role such as Pre-Sales Solution Architect, focusing on enterprise cloud solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Relevant hyperscaler cloud certifications.
- Experience or strong familiarity with cloud implementation and adoption cycles.
- Experience with open source, cloud native, and Oracle technologies.
- Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Participate in customer engagements to collaboratively design and implement solutions.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements and develop architectures that translate business needs into solutions.
- Implement solutions and ensure successful deployments through code development and scripting.
- Support customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services via resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training.
- Create and distribute technical assets (white papers, solution code, blog posts, and video demonstrations).
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customers and sales on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
