Position

Grow, develop, inspire, and lead a diverse organization of highly motivated, high-performing, and customer-centric cloud architect teams. Provide leadership on technical cloud solutions and customer success by defining and implementing best practices in customer engagement. Work closely with sales leadership to ensure effective collaboration toward a common goal. Build the structures and culture to ensure your team effectively leverages the expertise available in our diverse internal technology engineering ecosystem, to win and develop the most complex and demanding customer projects and workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Establish business objectives, metrics, and plans to ensure attainment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage resources that work with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design and implement cloud solutions for customers.
  • Establish business objectives, metrics, and plans to ensure attainment.
  • Provide leadership on technical cloud solutions and customer success.
  • Identify gaps and enhancements to influence engineering roadmaps for customer-driven features.
  • Deliver presentation demonstrations to high-level customers and at conferences and events.
  • Maintain expertise by staying current on emerging technologies.
  • Manage the implementation of solutions and ensure successful deployments by providing direction on code development and scripting.
  • Oversee the support of customers from Proof of Concept (POC) through production deployment of services, management of resource configuration, planning, and customer education/training.
  • Act as spokesperson for Oracle Cloud and an escalation path for relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and motivate teams toward achieving ambitious goals.
  • Passion for technology, with leadership experience in a sales consulting, technical architecture, or technical sales environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; strong problem-solving skills with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of the Cloud marketplace and the specifics of selling and driving the adoption of cloud services.
  • Strategic planning capabilities with the capacity to develop and execute comprehensive strategies focused on driving market penetration and growth.
