We are hiring a Cloud Solutions Architect in our Alliances team to facilitate the engagement of our major partners—like Intel, Nvidia, Google, Dell, HP, Accenture, and Tata—helping them understand and adopt our open-source platform. The role involves working with our worldwide field engineering team to address real-world customer challenges, enabling enterprise adoption of technologies such as Ubuntu, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and AI/MLOps.
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will assist global companies in adopting both public and private cloud infrastructures and open-source applications. Responsibilities include:
- Understanding Ubuntu, Linux, networking, and services in real-world environments.
- Architecting cloud infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, Ceph, and Spark.
- Integrating widely used open-source software such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, and NGINX.
- Collaborating with partners to formulate and validate joint technical solutions.
- Preparing and leading onboarding sessions and workshops with partner teams.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Linux (preferably Ubuntu), Kubernetes, and Ceph.
- Experience designing and implementing solutions on public or private clouds.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash, along with troubleshooting skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- High levels of motivation, multitasking ability, and reliability.
- Interest in customer engagement and new technologies.
- Willingness to travel globally up to 30% of the time.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field.
