We are hiring a Cloud Support Associate Engineer to support the technical needs of customers leveraging Ubuntu and open-source products. This role offers an opportunity for a hands-on engineer eager to learn and passionate about Linux and cloud technologies. You will work with industry experts to solve complex technical problems, providing expert-level support regarding various issues, including Cloud environment troubleshooting, OS configuration, and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support via telephone, email, and web.
- Ensure timely updates to internal customers, managing cases per our Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and maintain existing documentation.
- Communicate technical notices internally and externally.
- Prioritize tasks to focus on the most important and urgent issues.
- Participate in a weekend work rotation as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, etc.).
- Experience with Linux troubleshooting and server administration.
- Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
- Basic hands-on experience with virtualization, cloud, containers, storage technologies, and networking.
- Programming fundamentals in any language such as bash, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript, C, C++, or Go.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Background check required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting virtualized environments (e.g., KVM, Virtual Box, VMWare).
- Active contributions to open-source projects.

- This is a full-time remote role available in AMER, EMEA, or APAC time zones.
