The role entails:
- Providing technical support from your remote home office.
- Taking ownership of new cases via telephone, email, and web.
- Acting as an internal customer advocate and ensuring timely updates.
- Managing cases according to Service Level Agreements (SLA) for maximum customer satisfaction.
- Contributing to a knowledge base and drafting technical notices.
- Prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Maintaining communication with the team and participating in a weekend working rotation.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering).
- Experience with Linux troubleshooting and server administration.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts.
- Familiarity with virtualization/cloud technologies and programming fundamentals in any language (e.g., bash, Perl, Ruby, Javascript, C, Go).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to learn quickly and perform well under pressure.
