Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Hybrid)
Work Conditions: Full-time, hybrid setup
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply your knowledge of Linux virtualization using Libvirt/KVM and containers/Kubernetes to support customized solutions for our customers.
- Serve as a technical authority with experience in popular open source software such as PostgreSQL, Corosync/Pacemaker, MongoDB, MySQL, and Apache.
- Provide advice on deployed architecture and implement solutions for complex problems to guide customers in successful data-center operations.
- Communicate regularly with the customer team regarding ongoing issues.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Open source development or scripting experience.
- Professional experience with OpenStack is a strong plus.
- Professional experience with Kubernetes and/or Ceph.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Excellent communication skills and significant experience in customer-facing positions.
- High motivation with the ability to multitask and reliably follow up on commitments.
- Experience with or willingness to learn new technologies, such as LXD, Snaps, MAAS, Juju, and Ubuntu.
- Ability to travel.
