Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of Linux virtualization, containers, and TCP/IP networking to support customized customer solutions.
- Act as the technical authority on popular open source tools and software.
- Provide architectural advice and support for complex problems, guiding customers in data-center infrastructure operations.
- Maintain regular communication with customer teams regarding ongoing issues.
What We Are Looking For:
- A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Open source development or scripting experience.
- Professional experience with OpenStack is a strong plus; experience with Kubernetes and/or Ceph is also desirable.
- Fluency in English is required; excellent communication and customer-facing skills are essential.
- High motivation, ability to multi-task, and reliability in following up on commitments.
- Willingness to learn new technologies including LXD, Snaps, MAAS, Juju, and Ubuntu.
- Ability to travel as needed.
