As a Cloudera Data Lakehouse Platform Administrator & Support Engineer, you will be responsible for administering and supporting Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) services across Data Lakehouse environments. Your tasks will include managing platform configuration, cluster health, service dependencies, and capacity planning; performing installations, patching, upgrades, scaling, and environment maintenance; and monitoring and managing distributed storage health, replication, and data availability using technologies like HDFS and Apache Ozone.

You will also support distributed data processing and analytical workloads using technologies like Spark, Hive, and Impala, troubleshoot job failures and optimize platform performance, monitor and support real-time and batch ingestion pipelines using Kafka and NiFi, and ensure reliable and secure data ingestion across the platform. Additionally, you will support Kerberos, Ranger, and Atlas for security and governance, ensuring controlled access and compliance adherence.
Your role will require you to provide L1/L2 production support using ITIL-aligned processes while participating in shift-based and on-call support, monitor platform services, maintain documentation, and automate routine administrative and monitoring tasks.
