Responsibilities

  • Implement and verify compliance with security procedures, standards, and policies while optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of physical security at our facilities.
  • Build trust and maintain customer relationships with data center business partners to execute a comprehensive strategy that enhances security while enabling our partners to build customer capacity.
  • Responsible for planning, developing, and implementing security plans and programs, including Emergency Response and Crisis Management, while coordinating site investigations with the Global Intelligence and Investigative team.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues, and technology, providing updates on risks and threats to employees and infrastructure.
  • Perform continual risk analysis for data center sites regarding crime, terrorism, workplace violence, and threats from disasters.
  • Provide leadership and best practices on security policy to onsite management and ensure existing vulnerabilities are identified and mitigated effectively.
  • Liaise with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies for the locations of the Data Centers.

Requirements

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and writing security strategies.
  • Proven ability to drive processes to achieve industry-leading security and cost reductions through improvements and technology enhancements.
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and define structure, processes, and standards where none exist.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic operational environments influenced by changing customer requirements and evolving security threats.
  • Must possess strong communication skills to interact with demanding customers and meet short notice deadlines.

Work Conditions

  • 25% travel required, both domestic and international.
