The company is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent Electrical with Onshore Site experience specifically in MEGA EPC projects to be based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to closely monitor commissioning activities in line with their guiding procedures.
- Oversee the progress of commissioning activities in the sales gas and condensate areas.
- Review and assess pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Provide necessary advice and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
- Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractors or Vendors.
- Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Participate in commissioning and other relevant meetings.
- Engage in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
- Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificate issuance.
- Monitor and approve the closure of punch lists in your area.
- Ensure the completion and handover methodology complies with related contractual documents.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is essential.
- A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operation readiness, preferably within the GCC region.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position focused on Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, with preference for experience in commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, or hydro-desulfurization projects.
