The company is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent Electrical with extensive experience in Onshore Site MEGA EPC projects to join our team in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. In this critical role, you will oversee and ensure the successful commissioning of electrical systems within oil and gas or petrochemical projects, with a focus on sour gas and hydrogen production projects.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure the close monitoring of commissioning activities in line with their procedures.
- Oversee the progress of commissioning activities for the sales gas and condensate area.
- Review and refine pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Provide expertise and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
- Review commissioning manuals provided by the EPC Contractor or Vendors.
- Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Actively participate in commissioning meetings and other related discussions.
- Engage in troubleshooting analyses to overcome commissioning challenges.
- Verify system/subsystem readiness for Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) certificate issuance.
- Monitor and approve the closeout of punch lists in your area of responsibility.
- Ensure that the completion and handover methodology is compliant with relevant contractual documents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory.
- A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operation readiness, particularly in the GCC region is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, especially involving commissioning of sour gas, hydrogen production, or hydrodesulfurization projects.
