Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure commissioning activities align with their guiding procedures.
- Oversee the progress of commissioning activities within the sales gas and condensate areas.
- Review and evaluate pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Provide necessary advice and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
- Assess commissioning manuals issued by the EPC Contractor or Vendors.
- Verify requirements for mechanical completion certificates across various systems and subsystems.
- Participate in commissioning meetings and additional relevant meetings.
- Engage in troubleshooting analyses to address and resolve commissioning obstacles.
- Confirm the readiness of systems and subsystems for Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) certificate issuance.
- Monitor and approve the closure of punch lists in the assigned area.
- Ensure that the completion and handover methodologies comply with relevant contractual documents.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is mandatory.
- A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operation readiness, ideally within the GCC region.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, preferably involving commissioning of sour gas, hydrogen production, or hydro-desulfurization projects.
