Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate commissioning activities for sales gas and condensate areas.
- Liaise with licensors and vendors to monitor compliance with their guiding procedures.
- Review and enhance pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Provide necessary advice and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
- Evaluate commissioning manuals provided by EPC contractors or vendors for accuracy and completeness.
- Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Actively participate in commissioning meetings and resolve obstacles during troubleshooting analysis.
- Assess and confirm the readiness of systems/subsystems for Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) certificates issuance.
- Monitor and approve the closure of punch lists in your designated area.
- Ensure that completion and handover methodologies abide by related contractual documents.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operational readiness roles, particularly within the GCC region.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position specifically in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, particularly those involving sour gas commissioning, hydrogen production, and hydro-desulfurization.
