Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to monitor commissioning activities in accordance with their guiding procedures.
- Oversee the progress of commissioning activities related to sales gas and condensate areas.
- Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures and manuals issued by the EPC Contractor or Vendors.
- Provide required advice and support for the Senior Commissioning Manager.
- Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Participate in commissioning meetings and troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
- Verify system readiness for Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) certificates issuance.
- Monitor and approve the close-out of punch lists in assigned areas.
- Ensure that completion and handover methodologies comply with related contractual documents.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
- Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in the commissioning or operation readiness field, with a preference for experience in the GCC region.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, preferably involving commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, and hydro-desulfurization projects.
