Responsibilities
- Oversee commissioning activities of the sales gas and condensate area, ensuring alignment with Licensors and Vendors’ procedures.
- Review and provide input on pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Assist the Senior Commissioning Manager with necessary advice and support.
- Evaluate commissioning manuals provided by the EPC Contractor or Vendors.
- Verify requirements for mechanical completion certificates across various systems and subsystems.
- Actively participate in commissioning meetings and other related discussions.
- Engage in troubleshooting analysis to resolve any commissioning obstacles.
- Validate the readiness of systems/subsystems for MC and RFSU certificate issuance.
- Monitor and authorize the closure of punch lists within the assigned area.
- Ensure that the completion and handover methodology adhere to the related contractual documents.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
- A minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning/operation readiness positions, with preference for experience in the GCC region.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, particularly in commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, and hydro-desulfurization projects.
- Proven ability to coordinate with Licensors and Vendors for effective commissioning monitoring.
