Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to monitor commissioning activities in alignment with their guiding procedures.
- Oversee the progress of commissioning activities related to sales gas and condensate areas.
- Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Provide necessary advice and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
- Review commissioning manuals issued by the EPC Contractor or Vendors.
- Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Participate in commissioning meetings and related discussions.
- Engage in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning issues.
- Verify the readiness of systems/subsystems for the issuance of MC (Mechanical Completion) and RFSU (Ready for Start-Up) certificates.
- Monitor and approve the closure of punch lists in assigned areas.
- Ensure completion and handover methodologies comply with relevant contractual documents.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is a MUST.
- Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in a commissioning/operation readiness position, with preference for experience in the GCC region.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects, specifically with commissioning associated with sour gas, hydrogen production, and hydro-desulfurization.
