About the Role
The company is seeking a Commissioning Superintendent Mechanical (Rotating) with a strong background in offshore site operations specifically for MEGA EPC projects. This position is based in Abu Dhabi and is part of a PMC project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the commissioning and operational readiness of oil & gas or petrochemical projects, particularly with sour gas, hydrogen production, and hydro-desulfurization projects.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities as per their guiding procedures.
- Oversee the progress of commissioning activities within the sales gas and condensate area.
- Review and provide input on pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Advise and support the Senior Commissioning Manager as needed.
- Examine commissioning manuals issued by the EPC Contractor or Vendors for accuracy.
- Verify mechanical completion certificates for various systems and subsystems.
- Actively participate in commissioning and related meetings.
- Engage in troubleshooting analyses to address commissioning challenges.
- Confirm the readiness of systems and subsystems for MC (Mechanical Completion) and RFSU (Ready for Start-Up) certificate issuance.
- Monitor the approval and closure of punch lists within assigned areas.
- Ensure handover methodologies are compliant with contractual documents.
Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
- Minimum of 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operational readiness, with a preference for the GCC region.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within oil & gas or petrochemical sectors, especially in commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, or hydro-desulfurization projects.
