About the Job:
The Communications Engineer shall serve as the primary in-country point of contact for Engineering support services, providing essential technical assistance and reach back support. This role involves coordinating country-specific communications working groups like CIWG, CCIB, and PMR. Additionally, the engineer will offer technical advice, assistance, and demonstrations to Kuwait military personnel regarding the testing, maintenance, repair, configuration, and operation of all Kuwait PATRIOT communications equipment, which includes ECS, ICC, CRG, FSAMG, NMM, and ITMK, spread across seven Fire Unit sites and other locations. Responsibilities also include monitoring, reporting, and maintaining tactical shelter and FSAMG equipment while ensuring compliance with risk management frameworks and security policies.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in the coordination of maintenance/repairs with Battalion and Central Maintenance Facility personnel.
  • Support Kuwait Air Defense in refreshing operator training for Fire Unit and Battalion personnel to maintain operator proficiency.
  • Assist with the Kuwait Patriot Risk Management Framework (RMF), ensuring compliance with physical and cyber security policies and procedures.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Proficiency in maintaining, testing, and providing technical advice on the Patriot communications equipment.
  • Skill in loading and updating all Red/Black Software as updates are issued.
  • Capability to set up and maintain Tower Mounted UHF/VHF equipment, with the ability to climb high towers for maintenance and troubleshooting.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of related experience, or
  • Associate’s Degree with 8 years of experience, or
  • High School Diploma/GED with 12 years of related experience.
