The Opportunity
- Live in the trenches. Engage actively on platforms like Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, and Reddit. You’re not merely monitoring channels; you are an integral participant.
- Be the fastest voice in the room. When significant market events occur, such as chain halts or new listings, you will provide immediate updates with speed and accuracy.
- Build the inner circle by establishing an ambassador and power-user program. Connect with market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders to foster candid feedback on our products.
- Run public engagement initiatives, including AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, and competitions, taking ownership of the dialogue.
- Close the loop with Product teams by identifying issues and communicating outcomes back to the community.
- Create content that encourages sharing and engagement, including threads on microstructure, feature teardowns, and accessible release notes.
- Measure the success of community strategies through sentiment analysis, share of voice, community-sourced signups, and retention metrics.
What You’ll Bring
- A strong background in trading, with real-world experience that informs your conversations about key concepts like funding rates and market dynamics.
- Over 3 years of experience managing community or social engagement for products with technical audiences, particularly in crypto, fintech, gaming, or developer tools.
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to create compelling short-form content and in-depth long-form narratives that stand up to scrutiny from knowledgeable peers.
- Resilience and instincts. Ability to navigate the fast-paced and often contentious crypto space while maintaining a community-first approach to conflict resolution.
- Experience in building community initiatives from the ground up, rather than merely managing pre-existing accounts.
- A self-starter mentality with a capacity to make decisions amidst ambiguity without needing approvals.
- Comfort with the fast pace of a company that is constantly innovating and realigning itself to pursue new opportunities.
