About the Role
In this position, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, managing, maintaining, testing, evaluating, and repairing computer networks, workstations, and supporting server systems. Your role will involve supporting hardware and software, managing user accounts, and overseeing computer and telephone rooms. You will also train and instruct users on the proper use and security of all systems while troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving technical issues related to computer hardware, software, LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to program error messages and provide network communications support and technical guidance.
  • Refer major problems to vendors/technicians as appropriate.
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements across various systems.
  • Consult with others to assess, analyze, and resolve computing needs and system requirements.
  • Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
  • Plan and coordinate installations, moves, additions, changes, and system enhancements related to information technology.
  • Implement and manage network security measures to protect company data.
  • Provide end-user support for all applications and plan for disk space management across the network.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all technological devices, ensuring that all backup tapes are safely stored in a fireproof safe.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures and report incidents such as accidents or unsafe work conditions to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets at all times.
  • Address guests’ service needs, assist co-workers, and speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact regarding the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards while identifying and implementing new strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, quality, safety, and cost savings.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing 50 pounds or less.
  • Maintain the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and navigate stairs or ramps as necessary.
  • Enter and locate information using computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
