Responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property.
- Assist guests with room access and other needs.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
- Lock property entrances as required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
- Respond to accidents, contact EMS, or administer first aid/CPR.
- Assist guests/employees during emergency situations and notify appropriate individuals of any incidents.
- Defuse disturbances, call for outside assistance if necessary, and complete incident reports.
- Handle interruptions and complaints, resolving safety hazards.
- Escort unwelcome persons from the property without disrupting operations.
- Report vehicle accidents or thefts and assist using proper communication codes.
- Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report; maintain confidentiality of all related documents.
- Conduct investigations and gather evidence, while interviewing relevant parties.
- Follow company policies and procedures, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions to management.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests, addressing their service needs.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing documents accurately.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships, supporting the team to achieve common goals.
- Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and adhere to physical requirements including lifting and moving objects.
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No prior experience required.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- License or Certification: None required.
