This role involves managing compliance tasks related to municipalities, civil defense, and service providers' licenses and permits.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Travel: 40% travel within the country expected

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the compliance lead in managing the company's building and operational compliance with authorities’ requirements, ensuring timely tracking, reporting, and resolution of regulatory requirements across the country in collaboration with wider AMET markets.
  • Liaise with government authorities, including, but not limited to, the Economic Department, Municipalities, and Civil Defense, to expedite the issuance of licenses and permits.
  • Track compliance permits, monitor their status, and report findings to leadership.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal business functions, to ensure timely acquisition and renewal of permits.
  • Handle escalation management for delayed or high-priority permits.
  • Contribute to optimizing, digitalizing, standardizing, and improving the permits renewal process across the country.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience working directly with government officials and regulatory bodies.
  • Proven experience in high-level negotiation and successful relationship management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of delivering results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Native Arabic speaker.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
