Configuration Control Manager

Core Accountabilities

• Lead and supervise the Configuration Control team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Define, document, and maintain baselines for all configuration elements, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), tooling, gauges, manufacturing process sequences, and raw material specifications.
• Manage and document changes to the Control Plan and ensure proper approval workflows are followed.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure changes comply with regulatory and customer requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments for configuration changes, identifying potential impacts on production or quality.
• Mentor and train team members to ensure professional growth and adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Certifications in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, ISO 10007) are an advantage.
• 10+ years of experience in related roles within a manufacturing environment, preferably in defense or ammunition manufacturing.
