About the Role
We are seeking a Customs Affairs Officer located in the UAE to ensure the timely and accurate customs clearance of all inbound and outbound consignments requiring customs clearance. This position plays a crucial role in supporting end-to-end technical review and conformity assessment for various products, including Telecom, Wireless, IoT, Electrical, and Electronics.

Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end technical review and conformity assessment for Telecom, Wireless, IoT, Electrical and Electronics products.
- Review technical files, test reports, declarations, product labels, and certification documents for regulatory completeness.
- Coordinate certification submissions and approvals across applicable GCC/Middle East schemes and client requirements.
- Liaise with clients, laboratories, the company regional teams, and certification stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant project delivery.
- Demonstrate strong technical interpretation, regulatory analysis, and structured documentation review capability.
Requirements
- Knowledge of telecom, wireless, electrical/electronics conformity schemes, approval routes, and market access requirements.
- Ability to assess technical evidence, identify documentation gaps, and coordinate corrective inputs with clients and laboratories.
- Strong coordination, reporting, and follow-up skills across regional teams, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, Communication Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred exposure to product compliance, conformity assessment, regulatory certification, or technical documentation review.
- Analytical and detail-oriented profile with the ability to interpret standards, test evidence, and certification requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client coordination, laboratory follow-up, and internal reporting.
Additional Information
- 2–4 years of experience in product compliance, conformity assessment, certification support, or technical documentation review.
- Exposure to telecom, wireless, IoT, electrical/electronics product categories and related GCC/Middle East approval schemes.
- Understanding of applicable schemes such as type approval, G-Mark, ECAS, SABER, IECEE, RoHS, or energy efficiency programs is preferred.
- Ability to review compliance evidence, identify gaps, follow up with clients/labs, and support timely certification submissions.
