Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards aligned with industry best practices.
- Identify, assess, and manage risks related to AI systems, including ethical, operational, legal, and reputational risks.
- Collaborate with various teams (AI development, data science, legal, compliance, and business) to implement governance and risk management throughout the AI lifecycle.
- Monitor emerging AI regulations, standards, and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and proactive risk mitigation.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits of AI models and data usage to identify potential biases and security vulnerabilities.
- Provide guidance and training on AI governance principles and responsible AI use.
- Support incident response related to AI system failures or governance breaches.
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior management regarding AI risk posture and compliance.
- Promote a culture of responsible AI use and continuous improvement in governance practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in AI governance, risk management, compliance, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and data management principles.
- Knowledge of AI ethics, fairness, transparency, and accountability frameworks.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations such as GDPR and the AI Act (EU).
- Experience in conducting risk assessments and audits.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into actionable guidance.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AIGP) are a plus.
Language Requirements: Proficiency in English is likely required.
