About the Job:
As a Consultant in Cyber Software & Asset Management at Deloitte, you will play a critical role in guiding organizations to strategically manage their IT assets. Your expertise will assist clients in controlling costs, mitigating compliance risks, and improving overall IT asset governance. Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluating software asset management maturity and assessing client policies, processes, and roles against industry best practices.
- Analyzing software license entitlements and usage to identify areas of underutilization, over-licensing, and potential cost savings.
- Advising on software compliance risks by interpreting vendor agreements and ensuring alignment with licensing terms.
- Supporting audit readiness and vendor negotiations by preparing clients with structured software asset data and risk assessments.
- Identifying opportunities for contract optimization through the review of existing software agreements and potential consolidations.
- Developing Software Asset Management (SAM) strategies and roadmaps aligned with client business goals, IT landscapes, and operational needs.
- Collaborating with IT, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cohesive software asset decision-making.
- Enhancing IT asset management processes through best practices in SAM, Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Recommending SAM tooling improvements based on evaluations of clients’ existing solutions.
- Delivering insights through clear reports and presentations to assist clients in making informed decisions related to licensing and cost management.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), IT asset management, or software licensing.
- Familiarity with major licensing models such as Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, and SAM tools like Flexera, ServiceNow, or Microsoft SCCM.
- Strong analytical skills to assess software usage, licensing terms, and compliance risks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, presentation tools, and research tools.
- Strong desire to continuously learn and enhance capabilities while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CSAM, or Microsoft SAM are a plus but not required.
Language Requirements: Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
