The opportunity involves engaging with government entities and businesses in the MENA region to help them transition to the latest IFRS standards. You will play a vital role in both financial and non-financial sectors, strengthening internal and external relationships while executing complex assurance procedures. You will also present findings to the client and uphold compliance with Quality & Risk Management (Q&RM) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute technically to clients, establishing and strengthening relationships.
  • Execute complex assurance procedures under supervision.
  • Anticipate and identify risks, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Ensure work plans are properly executed and documented in compliance with guidelines.
  • Foster a positive learning culture by coaching junior team members.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Proactive, accountable, and results-driven mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Strong academic record, including a degree.
  • Professional accountancy qualification or in progress.
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with IFRS and local GAAP standards.
  • Understanding of risk-based auditing and control strategies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and Q&RM procedures.
  • Experience with a leading audit firm.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Arabic is ideal.
