The F5 Consultant is an innovative engineer working in partnership with our clients, advising them on how to use F5 technology solutions to meet their business objectives or overcome problems. They provide guidance and subject matter expertise to customers regarding the implementation and configuration of various F5 products. As the face of F5 during customer projects, the Consultant fosters a positive relationship with customers through effective communication and successful delivery of solutions. Responsibilities include understanding project goals, engaging in collaborative dialogue to meet client needs, and maintaining timely communication.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance to customers regarding the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of F5 products.
- Contribute to problem identification, systems architecture definition, solution design, implementation, testing, client training, deployment, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Maintain working proficiency in F5 products and technologies.
- Manage customer interactions and engagement throughout projects.
- Participate in sales presentations and complete ongoing team account activities.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, focusing on network/system architecture and design.
- At least 2 years in a customer-facing professional services consultant or engineer role.
- Proven experience working as part of a team and managing multiple concurrent projects.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Job may be performed on-site at a customer facility, in a data center, or in an office environment.
- Position may require travel up to 70%, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
