The Consultant, Implementation will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of low and medium complexity client onboarding and implementation engagements or for leading workstreams within larger programs. This role involves managing platform onboarding, demonstrating APIs and capabilities, advising clients on technical requirements, and resolving client issues.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own the delivery of low and medium complexity implementations from onboarding kickoff through go-live.
- Lead client onboarding processes, including readiness and execution.
- Conduct platform and API demonstrations tailored to client needs.
- Advise clients on meeting business and technical requirements.
- Investigate and address client-raised issues, coordinating resolutions as needed.
- Manage delivery plans, scope, risks, dependencies, and milestones.
- Lead customer workshops, document outcomes, and maintain onboarding artifacts.
Typical Deliverables:
- Comprehensive onboarding and implementation delivery for clients.
- Customized platform and API demo materials.
- Documented requirements-to-platform mappings and solution approaches.
- Preparation of RAID logs, status reports, and decision records.
- Go-live readiness assessments and handover packages.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4-8 years’ experience in delivery, implementation, consulting, or project leadership roles.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading client-facing workshops or onboarding activities.
- Domain knowledge in core banking or cards/payments.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in SaaS or API-based platforms, including REST/JSON integrations.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman or Bruno.
- People management or mentoring experience, particularly in demonstrating card processing and core banking platform capabilities.
Language Requirements:
- Not specified, but competency in English is typically expected in global organizations.
