About the Role
In your role as a Consultant in Modeling & Insights, you will demonstrate and develop your capabilities by fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in modeling engagements. You will be responsible for developing a clear understanding of each client's bespoke requirements, translating these into logical steps and formulas, and ensuring the final product meets the client's expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders within modeling engagements.
• Understand client requirements and ensure alignment with model specifications.
• Translate client requirements into logical steps and formulas for the model.
• Identify key metrics for clients and clearly present these within the model – both visually and numerically.
• Manage administrative processes for the engagement, ensuring quality and compliance requirements are met.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients throughout the project from draft models through user acceptance testing to model handover.
• Become a specialist in Excel, using collaborative experience to develop technical proficiency.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of colleagues’ models, ensuring mathematical accuracy and consistent logic.
• Ensure models and associated documentation are accurate prior to client delivery.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in financial consulting (Financial Advisory/Corporate Finance) or Investment Banking/Merchant Banking.
• Candidates who have commenced a Chartered Accountancy Qualification from a major international accountancy body are preferred; support will be provided.
• Experience in developing financial models in a business environment.
• Delivery of models to third-party clients in a professional services environment is advantageous.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a clear understanding of utilizing Excel formulas flexibly.
• Competent with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
• Proactive approach to quality assurance and ensuring high standards of deliverables.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A numerate undergraduate or postgraduate qualification.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to write and present effectively in English.
• Bilingual (Arabic & English) preferred.
