About the Role
As a Consultant within the company Business Consulting (ABC), you will be part of a global unit that plays a vital role in the GSS – Global Accounts & Strategic Sales organization within the company Travel Unit. Your mission will be to deliver business consulting and transformation services to the travel industry, contributing to lasting business outcomes. You will serve as a Trusted Advisor to our customers and act as a Growth Accelerator for the company. This position is based in the consulting hubs located in Dubai or Madrid and is designed for individuals who are knowledgeable and results-driven.

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver chargeable and non-chargeable consulting services to external customers, ensuring high-quality execution, clear business outcomes, disciplined delivery governance, and adherence to agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
• Provide consulting support to GSS, business domains, commercial teams, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, and strategy teams by translating customer needs into clear value propositions, business cases, and consulting-led engagement approaches.
• Engage with senior and executive stakeholders at customer organizations, bringing analytical insight, industry judgement, and structured recommendations to support transformation decisions and strengthen strategic relationships.
• Contribute to ABC and GSS priorities, including consulting practice development, reusable assets and playbooks, service incubation, value assessment methods, and initiatives assigned by ABC or GSS management.
• Develop strong expertise across relevant travel business domains and company solutions, sharing knowledge with customers and internal teams to improve solution adoption, business readiness, and measurable value realization.

Requirements

• Relevant academic qualifications in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field, and/or equivalent professional experience.
• Communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Experience in consulting, strategy, business planning, financial management, or related business functions.
• Direct airline work experience or experience as an aviation consultant across several airline business domains, such as network planning, revenue management, commercial management, and operations.
• Strong competency in airline operations, including flight operations, ground operations, disruption management, and operational performance improvement. Familiarity with airport operations, irregular operations management, and key performance indicators, including on-time performance, aircraft utilization, turnaround efficiency, and schedule adherence. Ability to support airlines in Operations Transformation programmes, leveraging digital technologies, operational analytics, automation, and AI-enabled decision support to enhance operational resilience, improve customer experience, and optimize cost and performance outcomes.
• Good understanding of the entire company solutions portfolio, with a focus on Operations solutions (DCS, CM, FM, OPR, DT ER), a strong affinity with travel technology, and the ability to learn quickly.
• The position will require around 50% international travel.
