Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of technology resilience concepts, including recovery architecture, IT continuity, backup strategies, and failover design.
  • Conduct Technology Impact Analysis (TIA) or similar assessments to evaluate critical IT dependencies.
  • Actively participate in or run Disaster Recovery (DR) drills.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain runbooks.
  • Assess data centres, hybrid/cloud infrastructure, and application landscapes through a resilience lens.
  • Translate technical risks into business impact terms and effectively communicate recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of resilience strategies, roadmaps, or implementation plans for enterprise clients.
  • Familiarity with regulatory expectations around technology resilience, particularly in sectors like financial services, energy, or government.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with business continuity, crisis management, or operational resilience frameworks beyond IT.
  • Experience in supporting or conducting tabletop exercises, technical simulations, or chaos engineering experiments.
  • Knowledge of cloud resilience architectures (e.g., multi-AZ/multi-region failover, backup/restore in AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Understanding of cyber-resilience intersections, including ransomware preparedness, zero-trust recovery, or secure-by-design principles.
  • Exposure to modern resilience solutions such as immutable backups, cyber vaults, DR-as-a-Service (DRaaS), or cloud-native recovery approaches.
  • Experience in resilience posture assessments and advising on improvements using industry-aligned frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, DORA, NIST, COBIT).
  • Exposure to emerging technology risks like AI model resilience and edge computing.
  • Professional certifications such as ISO 22301 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CBCI, AWS/Azure cloud certifications, or DORA/operational resilience credentials can be an added advantage.
